At Rollerson Park Community Garden at Rollerson Park, Papakura (entrance on Cross St), this course will be facilitated by Jennifer and offers an introduction to the three basic composting systems that can be used in the home and garden: traditional composting bins, worm farms and bokashi buckets. Come and discover what suits you best!
This workshop is outdoors, so please bring your sunhat and possibly a fold-up chair or picnic blanket unless you’re happy to stand or sit on the grass.
If you want to come earlier and help in the garden with gardening or composting you are welcome to arrive between 9.30 am and 11 am to help. If you have gardening gloves they could be useful.
Confirmed participants will receive a $40.00 discount toward the purchase of a composting system that can be redeemed online.
