This workshop is a collaboration with Te Korowai o Waiheke who will be making a presentation and helping us to make a rat-proofing base for the 240L plastic compost bin that are sold at the Centre via Compost Collective.
Phil from Te Korowai o Waiheke has designed an updated prototype for easier attachment to the bin. WRT will be providing the chicken wire and wire cutters for participants to take home a free rat-proofing base for their bin. Come and discover how easy it is!
Confirmed participants will receive a $40.00 discount toward the purchase of a composting system that can be redeemed at the Waiheke Sustainability Centre.
