At the Wesley Community Centre, join Adam and Ali for an introduction to composting and a hands-on compost making workshop. From 10:30am – 11:30am Adam will offer an introduction to the three most common types of composting systems; Bokashi buckets, traditional cold compost bins, and worm farms. From 11:30am – 12:30pm Ali will lead a hands-on workshop in the community garden, revitalising the on-site compost bin.
What to wear: Clothes for gardening and sturdy, closed-toe shoes with grip (eg. sneakers or gumboots), gloves.
Bring: A water bottle, raincoat.
