About Compost Collective

Inspiring a Composting Movement Across Auckland.

about-illustration

The Compost Collective is here to help Aucklanders on their composting journey, and to eliminate food scraps and garden waste from ending up in landfill in Tāmaki Makaurau, and instead being returned to nourish the land locally.

Our knowledgeable facilitators and composting experts will help you learn the basics, answer any composting questions you may have along your journey, as well as breaking down composting barriers and showing you how easy it can be.

We offer free workshops all over Tāmaki Makaurau, with all attendees receiving a coupon towards a composting system of your choice.

Our Collaborators
and Funders

With support from Auckland Council, Kaipātiki Project and EcoMatters Environment Trust have teamed up to help create change. Both organisations have been engaged with composting and waste minimisation programmes for many years.
